Studio Artifact is a female owned small business that started from our candle making hobby during the pandemic. We quickly realised how hard it was to source small quantities of candle making supplies. It was either 10+ kilos of wax or nothing! No one had all the supplies we needed along with video tutorials and tips in the one place!

Where can I find candle making tutorials?

All of our kits come with an instructions card. Simply scan the QR code on the instructions card to be taken to our full list of Candle Making Tutorials that contain quick videos and written step by step instructions.

You can also find our tutorials on our Youtube, Tik Tok and Instagram.

How much wax dye should I put into the wax?

This really depends on the colour you want. Remember, a little goes a long way! You don't need to use a whole pouch of wax dye for one candle, you can add as little or as much as you like. The more dye you add, the stronger the colour of the wax will be.

How much fragrance oil should I add to the wax?

We've taken the guess work out and measured the quantities of wax and fragrance oil for you. Add 1 bottle of fragrance oil to 1 pouch of wax. If you prefer an unscented candle, you can skip the fragrance oil.


Can I change or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, once you have submitted your order you cannot change the items in your order, your billing details or cancel your order. Please review your cart and choose carefully.

Where is my order?

We can’t wait for you to receive your goodies and we’re so sorry for the delay with your package! You can check the status of your order by logging into your Studio Artifact account. You can also track your order by the link provided in your shipping confirmation email.

Something is missing from my order! What should I do?

We check all of our packages before we dispatch them, but we're sorry to hear that we made a mistake with your order. Please contact us at hello@studioartifact.com.au with your order confirmation number, proof of purchase and photos of your package so that we can find your order and process your request promptly!


How much does shipping cost?

We offer FREE standard shipping on all orders within Australia. We also offer express shipping which is calculated at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are sent via Australia Post and delivery times will vary depending on your location.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number so that you can easily track where your order is. If you feel your delivery has taken longer than it should, please check the tracking details or contact us at hello@studioartifact.com.au.

Do you ship to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers?

Yes, we ship to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers. Just make sure to provide an eligible PO Box or Parcel Locker address in your shipping details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We currently ship to New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ireland, Canada and the United States of America. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. For an estimate of international shipping times, please check your tracking number, the Australia Post website or your local post authority.


I've changed my mind, can I refund or exchange my order?

Please choose our products carefully. Due to the nature of our products, Studio Artifact does not offer refunds, returns or exchanges if you simply change your mind.

My item arrived damaged or faulty. Can I get a replacement or refund?

We take great care in packaging your order securely and checking all orders before they are dispatched. In the unlikely event that your order is damaged in the delivery process please contact us at hello@studioartifact.com.au with the following details:

  • your order number in the subject line,

  • proof of purchase,

  • photos of the damaged product(s), and

  • whether you prefer a replacement or refund (please note that a replacement is subject to product availability).

How long do I have to return a damaged product?

Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your Order.

How long does it take for a refund to be processed?

Refunds usually take 24-48 hours to be approved, then 5-10 working days for the money to find its way back into your account depending on your bank's processing times.

Why can't I see my refund in my bank account?

A refund may take between 5-10 business days to process depending on your bank. Processing time may be affected by delays during busy periods such as Public Holidays. If you have not received a refund within 5-10 business days, double check your bank account, then contact your credit card company or bank as it may take some time to process your refund. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@studioartifact.com.au.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept debit and credit card payments using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay Pal.

Do you have Afterpay or Zip Pay?

We hope to have Afterpay and Zip Pay in the future.

Can I use multiple promo codes at checkout?

We authorise one promo code per order. If you have found two valid Studio Artifact promo codes, please choose the one you want to use.
